Біографія

Research Activity

Oleg Romanovych Yarema, PhD in Economics, is an Associate Professor at the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

From 2008 to 2013, he studied at the Faculty of Economics of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, majoring in Economic Cybernetics.
From 2009 to 2015, he completed his studies at the Faculty of Law of the same university, specializing in Law.

Between 2014 and 2016, he pursued doctoral studies (PhD program) at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
In 2016, he defended his PhD dissertation devoted to the macroeconomic analysis of the impact of the public sector on economic growth in Ukraine.

In October 2024, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor at the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

His research focuses on interdisciplinary areas at the intersection of economics and information technologies, including digital economy and digital transformation, blockchain and digital assets, financial systems, information security, virtualization and information systems architecture, and applied IT solutions in economics.

He is the author and co-author of scientific publications indexed in international databases such as Scopus and Web of Science.

Professional Activity

Since 2019, he has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics, Faculty of Finance Management and Business, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

From 2018 to 2022, he served as Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Information Technologies, Lviv Institute of Banking of the University of Banking.

Since 2018, he has been a licensed attorney-at-law. He combines academic and research activities with professional practice in IT law, digital regulation, and corporate governance.

He is also the Director of LLC “Industrial and Production Innovation Center Westenergo”.
