Direct research

The Faculty of Finance and Business Management carries out systematic research activities in the field of finance, public administration, economics and business. Research covers such key areas as strategic management, regional development, effective personnel management, innovative financial mechanisms and digitalization of management processes.

The goal of the faculty’s scientific activities is to develop new knowledge and practical solutions that contribute to increasing the efficiency of management practices and sustainable development of society. Special attention is paid to involving students, postgraduates and young scientists in active participation in research projects, seminars and conferences, which ensures high academic quality and practical significance of the results.

The scientific activity of the faculty is implemented through the work of six departments, each of which specializes in specific areas of research in the fields of finance, management and economics:

  • Research into integration processes in the field of finance and business, financial and economic security of the state, household finances, finances of business entities, the country’s competitiveness and opportunities for its improvement, reform of state and independent financial control, financial and economic mechanisms and the effectiveness of targeted budget programs, economic analysis, the financial potential of SMEs and improving their financial security.
  • Research into models of state and local governance, civil service systems, public policy, ethics, good governance, public sector reforms, European integration and digitalization in management, state economic policy, development of local self-government and territorial communities, sustainable development.
  • Development and improvement of accounting systems, financial and management reporting, analysis of the efficiency of business processes, control mechanisms, auditing standards and practices.
  • Application of business analytics, big data processing, digital forecasting models, digital enterprise transformation, business process modeling, knowledge economy and digital economy.
  • Research into digital financial instruments, financial technologies, advisory models, innovations in financial management, automation, and banking technologies.
