Course description

The subject of the academic discipline

The subject of the discipline “Technologies of anti-crisis and intelligent business management” are methods, techniques and technologies that allow to successfully resolve crisis situations in business.

The purpose of the educational discipline

The goal of the educational discipline “Technologies of anti-crisis and intelligent business management” is the formation of knowledge about modern model and information technologies of anti-crisis business management.

 

Main tasks

The main tasks of the discipline “Technologies of anti-crisis and intelligent business management” are the study of the main methods and technologies of bringing business out of a crisis state, the use of modern information systems for this, the ability to assess a crisis state, develop a strategy for exiting a crisis and its implementation at the enterprise.

 

The place of the educational discipline in the structural and logical scheme of training

The educational discipline “Anti-crisis and intelligent business management technologies” is interconnected with such disciplines as “Project management”, “Mathematical methods and models of the market economy”, “Technology of creating software and intelligent systems”, “IT business strategies”, “Smart – economy” and others.

 

Requirements for knowledge and skills:

When studying the discipline “Technology of anti-crisis and intelligent business management”, students of higher education acquire the following competences (ability):

Integral competence (IC):

IC1 – The ability to identify and solve complex economic tasks and problems, to make appropriate analytical and managerial decisions in the field of economics or in the learning process, which involves conducting research and/or implementing innovations under uncertain conditions and requirements.

General competences (CG):

ZK1 − Ability to generate new ideas (creativity).

ZK4 − Ability to communicate with representatives of other professional groups at different levels (with experts from other fields of knowledge/types of economic activity).

ZK5 – Ability to work in a team.

ZK8 – Ability to conduct research at an appropriate level.

 

Special (professional) competences (SK):

SK1 – Ability to apply scientific, analytical, methodical tools to substantiate the strategy of development of economic entities and related management decisions.

SK6 – Ability to formulate professional tasks in the field of economics and solve them, choosing appropriate directions and appropriate methods for their solution, taking into account available resources.

SK7 – Ability to substantiate management decisions regarding the effective development of economic entities.

SK8 – Ability to assess possible risks, socio-economic consequences of management decisions.

SK12 − Ability to develop economic and mathematical models, model the behavior and development of socio-economic and financial-economic systems, objects of the market economy and business processes, conduct their analysis, evaluation, forecasting, planning and improvement of their management systems.

SK13 − Ability to find and collect relevant information from various sources, work effectively with large volumes of information, visualize it in various forms, possess modern analytics tools to assess product/service effectiveness, study process flow, analyze market needs, track business solutions of competitors, identifying the requests of the target audience in order to propose solutions for the development of business structures and increase the efficiency of business processes based on the patterns present in the collected data.

Program learning outcomes:

PR01 – Formulate, analyze and synthesize solutions to scientific and practical problems.

PR02 – Develop, substantiate and make effective decisions on the development of social and economic systems and management of subjects of economic activity.

PR04 – Develop socio-economic projects and a system of complex actions for their implementation, taking into account their goals, expected socio-economic consequences, risks, legislative, resource and other restrictions.

PR07 – Choose effective methods of managing economic activity, justify the proposed solutions on the basis of relevant data and scientific and applied research.

PR09 – Make effective decisions under uncertain conditions and requirements that require the use of new approaches, methods and tools of socio-economic research.

PR10 – Apply modern information technologies and specialized software in socio-economic research and management of socio-economic systems.

PR12 – Justify management decisions regarding the effective development of business entities, taking into account goals, resources, limitations and risks.

PR13 − Assess possible risks, socio-economic consequences of management decisions.

PR16 – Demonstrate the skills of using Business Intelligence and Data Science technologies to conduct business analysis, identify regularities, assess the state and trends in the development of economic phenomena and processes.
