Опис курсу

The discipline “Information Systems in Economics” is a normative discipline in the specialty C1 “Economics and International Economic Relations” for the educational program C1.01 “Economics”, taught in the 6th semester in the amount of 4 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS).

The purpose of studying the normative discipline “Information Systems in Economics” is to form in higher education students systemic knowledge and practical skills in using information systems for processing economic information, automation of accounting and management processes and support for management decision-making in the activities of enterprises.

The main objectives of the discipline “Information Systems in Economics” are to study the theoretical foundations of the construction and functioning of information systems in economics; to familiarize yourself with the capabilities and interface of accounting information systems as a tool for processing economic information; acquire skills in entering, processing and analyzing economic information in information systems; learn how to generate accounting, financial and management reports using software; develop the ability to use information systems to improve the efficiency of business processes; develop skills for safe work with economic data.
