Опис курсу
The emergence of modern economic information systems is due to the need to process large amounts of information under strict time limits for issuing results. These systems have a complex formalization of decision-making procedures for the majority of tasks, a high degree of integration of the elements that make up the system, a significant number of connections between elements, are characterized by flexibility and the possibility of modification.
The subject of the discipline is the automated processing of managerial and economic information and its processing tools.
The purpose of studying the academic discipline is to help future specialists acquire fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge of the basics of organization, functioning and use of information systems in economic management.
Main tasks
Students acquire knowledge of the theory and practice of organization, functioning and use of information systems for processing managerial and economic information, mastering practical skills of creating algorithms for managerial and economic tasks, adapting and using modern software tools for processing managerial information in the economy of Ukraine.
The place of the educational discipline in the structural and logical scheme
The discipline “IS in management” is interconnected with such disciplines as “Information and communication technologies”, “Accounting”, “Economics and finances of business entities”, “Finance, money and credit”, etc.
Requirements for knowledge and skills
a) know:
– Concept of information and information systems;
– theoretical foundations of the organization and functioning of management and economic information processing systems;
– organization and methodology of solving complex problems in institutions of various types;
– a set of modern software products designed to process accounting information;
– composition of automated data processing procedures under the conditions of functioning of computer information accounting systems;
b) be able to:
– use information systems for processing management and economic information;
– form the composition and content of the information base for solving accounting problems;
– cloud solution for business development and management BJet – a new platform for business management based on Odoo;
– give a professional assessment of the quality of application program packages intended for the automation of data processing in the management of an economic object.
