Опис курсу

The discipline “Visual Information Processing Systems” is an elective academic discipline of the cycle of professional and practical training in the specialty C1 “Economics and International Economic Relations”, specialization C1.01 “Economics” for the educational program “Digital Economy”, which is taught in the first semester in the amount of 4 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System – ECTS).

The purpose of the course is to form in students systemic knowledge about the principles of creating and processing three-dimensional graphic content, as well as the ability to apply three-dimensional modeling and visualization tools to implement practical tasks in a digital environment. 

Objectives of the course:

  • is to introduce students to the methods of modeling, editing and rendering of three-dimensional objects;
  • to reveal the principles of constructing geometric representations and digital scenes;
  • to teach the use of texturing, lighting and rendering tools;
  • to form practical skills in creating 3D content.
