Course description

“International Finance” is a normative discipline of the cycle of professional and practical training of students majoring in 072 “Finance, Banking and Insurance”. The study of the discipline consists of a lecture course, seminars and practical classes, independent work of students and individual research work.

The subject of the discipline is a set of laws, conditions, principles, processes carried out in the global financial environment.
The aim of the discipline is to study and study the theoretical and practical principles of formation, change and redistribution of funds within the global financial space, as well as to acquire skills in valuing various financial instruments operating internationally.

The objectives of the discipline are:

• study of cash flows and related relations in the field of international finance;
• study of all classifications and types, which acquires an international capital transfer;
• study of the dynamics of changes in the vectors of financial flows of international entities;
• assessment of the balance of payments;
• mastering the features of international taxation;
• mastering the basics of functioning of the international currency market, international credit market, international securities market;
• mastering the theoretical foundations of international financial management;
• study of conditions, forms, methods and basic tools of international settlements;
• study of problems and prospects of Ukraine’s integration into the world financial space.
