The subject of the discipline “Financial security of the enterprise” is the system of financial and economic relations regarding the formation of the optimal level of financial security to ensure the effective operation of enterprises.

The purpose of the educational discipline

The purpose of studying the discipline “Financial security of an enterprise” is the formation of a system of theoretical knowledge and practical skills to ensure the financial security of enterprises, a mechanism for the formation of financial security aimed at achieving the goals of the financial activities of economic entities.

Main tasks

The tasks of studying the academic discipline “Financial security of the enterprise” are:

• mastering the theoretical foundations of financial security at its various levels;
• mastering the skills of determining the nature of the impact of threats to the financial security of the enterprise, assessing the degree of their danger, the ability to choose means of protection;
• acquisition by future financiers of the ability to manage economic risks;
• mastering the methodology of assessing the financial security of the enterprise using a set of financial indicators characterizing its level;
• assimilation of theoretical foundations and acquisition of practical skills regarding the adaptation of the enterprise in order to optimize the financial indicators of the enterprise’s activity;
• formation of theoretical and practical knowledge regarding the planning of measures to ensure the financial security of the enterprise;
• organization and conduct of financial intelligence.
