Successful defense of master’s theses under the educational program “Information technologies in business”

On December 20-21, 2023, at the Faculty of Finance and Business Management, the defense of qualification (master’s) theses was held by students of the educational program “Information Technologies in Business” specialty 051 “Economics”.

The head of the commission, delivery director of the IT company “SoftServe”, Andriy CHIPURKO and members of the commission, leading experts of the department of digital economy and business analytics: professor Iryna SHEVCHUK, associate professor Anna ZADOROZHNA, associate professor Orest MYSHYSHYN, associate professor Yulianna STADNYK highly appreciated the level of professional training of the graduates education, the relevance of the topics of research conducted by them, the ability to conduct a scientific discussion, adhere to the culture of professional communication.

The following topical topics on the use of information technologies in business and business process management were brought up for discussion and evaluation by EC members, such as: “Management of business processes of enterprises in the field of telecommunications” (Aleksandrovych Anastasia), “Creating a fault-tolerant infrastructure for a web application with using cloud services” (Mykola Bakun), “Analysis of business processes when creating a website on Vue.js” (Oleg Barylko), “Dynamics and trends of development of the real estate market in Ukraine in conditions of instability” (Voikin Viktor), “Analysis and improvement of the process of organization of service provision” (Mykola Horbach), “Economic-mathematical modeling of budget fraud volumes” (Gulevaty Ilya), “Spatio-temporal analysis of Ukraine’s foreign trade interests” (Viktor Didenchuk), “Optimization of enterprise business processes using CRM -systems” (Oleg Knysh), “Analysis of the dynamics of changes in the advanced economies of the world” (Anastasia Lapinkova), “Economic-mathematical modeling of the sale of consumer goods” (Eugen Osoba), “Analysis and optimization of the company’s business processes, when developing a website on WooCommerce” (Ryvko Yaroslav), “Structural transformations and trends of the IT market of Ukraine” (Stasenko Zahariy), “Integral evaluation of the level and dynamics of digital transformation of Ukraine” (Sushko Andriy), “Optimization of development and placement of production in conditions of an unstable business environment” (Mykhailo Tanulyak), “SMM as a powerful tool for solving business problems of investment companies” (Trush Andriy), “Models and information support for marketing-oriented management of pharmaceutical business in the region” (Filypets Ostap).

The master’s studies were properly approved, students spoke at conferences of various levels, published report abstracts and articles in professional publications.

Each of the qualifying (master’s) theses submitted for public defense contained a set of relevant results and new scientific provisions and confirmed the master’s student’s ability to perform independent scientific research based on the acquired theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities.

Anastasiya ALEXANDROVICH received a diploma with honors based on the results of studies and state certification of higher education applicants.
