Acquisition of knowledge and practical skills of personal safety by students of higher education and teachers of the department of digital economy and business analytics as part of the round table “Advantages and features of the use of innovative pedagogical technologies in the study of safety disciplines in institutions of higher education”

On May 18, 2023, teachers of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics of the Faculty of Financial Management and Business together with students of higher education OP “Information Technologies in Business” (UFE-31c group) took part in the work of the round table “Advantages and features of using innovative pedagogical technologies in the study of security disciplines in institutions of higher education”, which took place on the basis of the University of Economics and Entrepreneurship (Khmelnytskyi) with the partnership support of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi Region and the Educational and Methodological Center of Civil Protection and Life Safety of Khmelnytskyi Region.

The head of the department Iryna SHEVCHUK spoke at the round table with the report “Security dimensions of the use of ChatGTP in the educational process of higher education institutions”.

In addition, the participants of the round table, in particular students of the OP “Information technologies in business” specialty 051 “Economics”, had the opportunity to listen to reports related to:

• features of the formation of general competencies of higher education students in the study of safety disciplines;
• disclosure of the importance of safety disciplines in the formation of a responsible attitude of education seekers to their own and collective safety;
• the need in today’s conditions for the creation and operation of Safety Classes in educational institutions;
• ensuring an effective process of formation of safety competence among students of higher and professional pre-higher education;
• basic methods and means of protecting the population in case of threat of use or use of weapons of mass destruction by the enemy;
• organization and conduct of object training on civil protection issues of higher education institutions;
• the use of information technologies, interactive methods, and psychological approaches to increase the motivation of higher education students to study;
• the use of online resources to visualize educational material during the creation of an individual educational environment for the student of education.

In the conditions of a full-scale war in Ukraine, teachers and students will receive valuable knowledge from the speakers about ensuring personal safety during the educational process, safety in the information space, the use of means of collective protection, actions during missile and artillery attacks, behavior when an explosive device is detected, etc.
