Meeting of freshmen with representatives of juvenile prevention

On October 4, 2023, at the Faculty of Finance and Business Management, a meeting of first-year students took place with Igor Kindzerskyi, head of the juvenile prevention sector of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 in the Lviv region, and Anna Grechanivska, inspector of the sector.
The main goal of the meeting was to prevent illegal actions by minors and warn them against danger. It was about the types and grounds of administrative responsibility of minors, in particular, smoking tobacco products in public places, drinking alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages, using narcotic drugs, hooliganism, using obscene language, violating curfew, not observing the silence regime, bullying, etc., as well as types crimes for which the criminal responsibility of minors is provided. Juvenile Prevention representatives provided students with useful tips and advice on how to avoid situations that could lead to offending and where to go for help and support if needed.
The meeting took place in the form of a dialogue, students had the opportunity to ask questions that interested them and receive comprehensive answers. At the end of the event, I. Kindzerskyi advised the first-year students to follow the Rules of Internal Procedure of the University, the Rules of Internal Procedure of the Dormitory and generally the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine. Grechanivska A., in turn, emphasized that ignorance of the law does not exempt you from responsibility for your actions, actions or inaction.
