International professional development of the associate professor of the department of accounting, analysis and control

From October 23 to October 30, 2023, associate professor, Department of Accounting, Analysis and Control of the Ivan Franko National University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Finance and Business Management, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Lviv, Anna Shot underwent advanced training on the topic: “Academic integrity and time management in the preparation of scientific works: foreign and domestic experience”. The organizer of the international advanced training (Webinar) is the Research Institute of the Lublin Science and Technology Park and the IESF International Foundation of Scientists and Educators (Lublin, Republic of Poland).
The program of international professional development included the implementation of a learning load of 1.5 ECTS credits (45 hours): 12 hours of lectures, 20 hours of practical work, and 13 hours of independent work. and provided consideration of such relevant topics as: “Science and time management, effective time management techniques”, “Modern world standards of academic writing: from theory to practice (taking into account the requirements of the world’s leading publishing houses and universities)”, “Time management for writing a qualification paper “, “How to start planning and stereotypes about time management”, “Academic integrity and quality academic writing skills as important competencies of higher education applicants” and others. The purpose of advanced training was to study time management methods and techniques to improve work efficiency, to familiarize with cases for researching the system of ensuring academic integrity in higher education at the regulatory and legislative level, and to study the European experience in combating plagiarism.
Based on the results of the internship, the teacher received a certificate.
