Accreditation for integration by teachers of the department of digital economy and business analytics of the course “Creation and development of IT products” from IT company Genesis and NGO “Educational Foundation of Product IT”

In the period from July 10 to 21, 2023, the head of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv Iryna SHEVCHUK completed the program of professional development for employees of higher education institutions (totaling 60 hours / 2 ECTS credits) from the Ukrainian co-founding IT company Genesis and was accredited to integrate the course “Creation and development of IT products” in her higher education institution (Certificate No. 109/ 081-2023).

The course is aimed at the development of IT entrepreneurship and the field of product IT in Ukraine. It will be integrated into the educational discipline “Decision-making systems”, which is taught to students of the IV year of the EPP “Information technologies in business” specialty 051 “Economics”.

 

During training, students will receive:

1) basic knowledge of product IT, entrepreneurship and product management;

2) competencies for the first steps in a product IT company or starting your own product IT business:

 

  • organization of the product development cycle;
  • organization of processes in the product team;
  • basics of product design;
  • the basics of working with market and target audience analysis tools;
  • the basics of marketing in product IT;
  • basics of product analytics;
  • the basics of working with decision-making tools and practices in product teams.

 

Career mentoring with representatives of Genesis IT company is also provided for the best students of the course.
