Biography

Bil Mariana was born on July 29, 1983 in Lviv. She received her higher education at the Lviv Institute of Economics and Tourism, majoring in «International Economics». In 2010, she defended her thesis for the Candidate of Sciences degree in public administration on the topic «Mechanism of public administration of the tourism industry (regional aspect)» at National Academy of Public Administration of the President of Ukraine, Lviv Regional Institute of Public Administration (scientific director Doctor of Economics, Prof. Olga Kraynyk). In 2014, she was awarded the academic title of senior researcher. In 2019, she defended her thesis for Doctor of Economic Sciences degree of on the topic «Spatial mobility of the population and its regulation in the context of human development policy» (scientific consultant, Doctor of Economics, Prof. Ulyana Sadova) at the Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University.

Since 2004, she has been engaged in scientific and pedagogical activities. Since 2004, she worked as a laboratory assistant at the department of the Lviv Institute of Economics and Tourism and as a trainee teacher. Since 2008, she has been working at State Institution «Institute of regional research named after M.I. Dolishniy of NAS of Ukraine», starting from the position of a leading engineer and up to today – the position of a senior researcher.

She is the author of more than 200 scientific works, including 2 individual monographs.
