Course description

The purpose of studying the discipline “Public Procurement” is to acquire theoretical knowledge and the formation of professional competencies in the organization and conduct of public procurement.

The tasks of studying the discipline “Public Procurement” are:

• mastering the theoretical and organizational foundations of public procurement;
  in-depth study of financial legislation;
• acquisition of the ability to explain certain provisions of the legislation on the implementation of public procurement procedures;
• acquisition of knowledge on the organization and implementation of public procurement, the procedure for conducting procurement procedures;
• mastering skills on issues that arise during the implementation of public procurement procedures;
• studying the procedure for applying the procedure for requesting quotations;
• acquaintance with specifics and features of preparation of the documentation of competitive bidding for various subjects of purchase;
• acquaintance with the conditions of application of the negotiated procurement procedure;
• acquaintance with the criteria for evaluation of competitive bidding proposals;
  mastering the skills of accepting and opening bids.
