The discipline “Public procurement” is an optional discipline from the specialty “Finance, banking, insurance and stock market”” for the educational program “Finance, customs and tax affairs”, which is taught in the 3rd semester in the amount of 3 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ЕСТС).

The educational discipline “Public procurement” is designed in such a way as to provide participants with the necessary knowledge, which is mandatory for the formation of students’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills regarding the conceptual approach to the organization and conduct of public procurement, the features of the algorithm of various types of competitive procedures, the formation of content and basic requirements tender documentation.

The purpose of studying the regulatory discipline “Public Procurement” is to acquire theoretical knowledge and develop professional competencies regarding the organization and conduct of public procurement.

Whole disciplines:

• master the theoretical and organizational foundations of public procurement;
• acquire the ability to clarify certain provisions of the legislation regarding the implementation of public procurement procedures;
• acquire knowledge on the organization and implementation of public procurement, the procedure for conducting procurement procedures;
• master skills on issues arising during the implementation of public procurement procedures;
• familiarize yourself with the specifics and features of the preparation of tender documentation for various procurement items;
• familiarize yourself with the evaluation criteria for bids;
• master the skills of accepting and opening bids.
