The discipline “Project financing” is a normative discipline from the specialty 072 “Finance, banking, insurance and the stock market” for the educational program “Finance, customs and tax affairs”, which is taught in the first semester in the amount of 4 credits (according to the European credit transfer system ECTS).

The educational discipline is designed in such a way as to provide students with the necessary knowledge needed to deepen professional competencies in the methodology and tools of project financing organization. Therefore, the discipline presents an overview of the theoretical foundations, processes and tools that are needed for further mastering the practice of project financing.

The purpose of studying the regulatory discipline “Project financing” is to acquire and systematize objective knowledge, skills, deepen professional competences in the methodology and tools of project financing organization on the basis of the legislation of Ukraine and taking into account domestic and foreign scientific research for their effective application in one’s professional activity.

The main goals of the academic discipline:

• formation of theoretical and methodological basis for applicants, necessary for further mastering the practice of project financing;
• assimilation of approaches to forecasting the project financing process;
• mastering the skills of using the acquired knowledge.
