The discipline “Project Finance” is an elective discipline in the specialty “Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market” for the educational program “Finance, Customs and Taxation”, taught in 1 semester in the amount of 4 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS).

The educational discipline “Project Finance” is aimed at forming in higher education applicants a system of knowledge necessary to deepen professional competencies in the methodology and tools of organizing project finance. Therefore, the discipline presents an overview of the theoretical foundations, processes and tools that are necessary for further mastering the practice of project finance.

The purpose of studying the discipline is to obtain and systematize objective knowledge, skills, and deepen professional competencies in the methodology and tools of organizing project financing based on the legislation of Ukraine and taking into account domestic and foreign scientific research for their effective application in professional activities.

The goals of studying the discipline are:

• to form in applicants a theoretical and methodological base necessary for further mastering the practice of project financing;
• to master approaches to forecasting the project financing process;
• to master the skills of using the acquired knowledge.
