Course description

The subject of the discipline are theoretical and practical aspects of the emergence, formation and development of international monetary and financial relations; international financial relations of the world market, arising in the process of international financial activities.

The purpose of the discipline “International Monetary and Financial Relations” is to provide students with professional knowledge in the field of theoretical and methodological foundations of world finance, namely – the essence and trends of the global financial environment, basic tools, principles and mechanisms of operations in foreign exchange and financial markets. problems of modern economies and financial integration, theoretical provisions and practical principles of future development of the international financial system.

Main tasks:

  • study of the economic structure, the mechanism of the world financial system and trends in its development;
  • mastering the theoretical principles and methodology of the global financial market;
  • understanding the process of financial integration in the context of globalization of world economic development;
  • study of the essence and elements of international financial relations;
  • acquiring knowledge regarding the study of the global financial market and its segments;
  • use of major financial instruments;
  • acquisition of skills to perform international financial settlements.
