Course description

The aim of the study of the discipline is a comprehensive analysis of the activity of banks at the macro level and the determination of the rating assessment of banks by supervisory bodies (NBU), international and national rating agencies

The subject of the educational discipline is provision of theoretical knowledge and formation of practical skills regarding the comprehensive analysis of the financial condition of banks at the macro level.

The main tasks are:

– acquired skills to structure financial information for the needs of analysis;

– clarification of the essence and tasks of the rating assessment of the bank’s activity;

– study of supervisory bodies’ approaches to rating assessment; research on the methodology and prospects for the development of services of international rating agencies and national rating agencies in Ukraine;

– study of alternative methods of rating assessment of banks’ activities.
