Participation of teachers of the department of digital economy and business analytics in the conference “Innovating Education: interaction of the state and IT business”

On June 3, 2023, Iryna SHEVCHUK and Oksana VASKIV, teachers of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics of the Ivan Franko National University of Applied Sciences of Ukraine, participated in the conference “Innovating Education: the interaction of the state and IT business” from the IT company Genesis, with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of of education and science of Ukraine.

Innovating Education is a conference for the exchange of experience and expertise between business and the state in order to develop a sustainable partnership in education.

Questions that were considered:

• Cooperation between the state and the IT business in education.
• Development of sustainable partnership in education for the economic growth of Ukraine.
• Innovative technologies in education.
• Development of IT entrepreneurship and product thinking among students.
• Modernization of education to prepare students for work in IT.

Among the invited speakers:

✔️ Mykhailo Fedorov – Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

✔️ Oksen Lisovyi – Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.

✔️ Volodymyr Mnololetniy – Co-founder and CEO of Genesis.

✔️ Oleksiy Nishchyk – Education Operations Director, Genesis.

✔️ Ilya Filipov is the CEO of EdEra online education studio.

In addition, the participants of the conference joined the workshops:

• The impact of ChatGPT on the educational landscape: trends and discussions in the world, examples of use.
• Integration of external educational projects for students of higher education institutions.
• The role and skills of the teacher in the era of digitalization: involvement and feedback.

The teachers received a lot of useful information, which will be used to improve the content and teaching methods of the academic disciplines taught to students of the OP “Information Technologies in Business”, as well as in scientific research.
