Career guidance in action: the associate professor of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics met with the graduates of the Navarry Lyceum of the Pustomytov City Council

We are slowly and surely approaching the beginning of the 2024 admissions campaign – for graduates, this time is defined by the fact that they finally decide on their dream institutions of higher education and specialties in which they will begin their studies from September.

On April 15, 2024, Iryna BORSCHUK, associate professor of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics, met with students of the 11-A (gymnasium) and 11-B classes of the Navary Lyceum of the Pustomytiv City Council. During the meeting, the advantages and prospects of studying in the specialty 051 “Economics”, in particular the educational and professional program “Information technologies in business” at the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv were discussed during the meeting.

Iryna BORSHCHUK introduced the future applicants to the competitive advantages of the bachelor’s educational program, among which it is possible to note: high-quality training of qualified specialists with special practical competencies, in particular, the ability to model socio-economic and business processes, make effective management decisions using business analytics tools, develop software provision and use of information technologies in various spheres of economy, management and business.

The acquired competencies allow graduates of our specialty to work in IT companies, outsourcing companies and banks, business analytical departments of companies, information departments of budget organizations, as well as organize their own digital business.

During the meeting, there was a lively discussion about employment opportunities after studying the educational program “Information Technologies in Business”.
