Open lecture by candidate of science of public administration, associate professor of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management O.A. Reshota the “Forming of the image of public authorities in the communicative space”

On March 30, 2021 an “open lecture” was conducted for the 4th year students the field of “Public Administration” by associate professor of Public Administration and Business Administration Department Olena Reshota in the discipline “Communications in Public Administration” on the topic “Formation of the image of a public authority in the communicative space”.

At the “open lecture” students were acquainted with the conceptual and categorical apparatus, modern concepts of image formation, types of image of public authorities, identified the main differences between the concepts of image, brand and reputation, analyzed tools and mechanisms of public authority image from the standpoint of communicative approach. practical ways to increase civil society confidence in the activities of public administration bodies.

After the lecture there was a discussion on the results of the lecture, where all participants noted the logical and consistent presentation of the lecture material, achieving the goals and objectives of the lesson, modern and creative “open lecture”. The lecturer noted the successful combination of theoretical material, supported by practical examples, constant feedback from the student audience, the use of modern interactive teaching methods to stimulate audience interest, such as case study and modern interactive methods of gamification of the learning process – mini-quiz provided an opportunity to assess the level of assimilation of lecture material by students immediately after the open lesson.

All the participants of the “open lecture” session came to a common conclusion about the high academic and scientific and methodological level of the “open lecture”, which meets the modern higher education requirements.
