Academic staff of the Department of Financial Management took part in an international internship.

During June 19-21, 2023, associate professors of the Department of Financial Management Olha Sych and Sofia Smolinska visited the University of Warsaw as part of the 4EU+ for Ukraine program with the support of NAWA (National Agency for Academic Exchanges of Poland) with the delegation of 11 teachers and employees of Ivan Franko Lviv National University. More than 70 participants (online and offline) took part in the “EU Study Days” event, including representatives of three Ukrainian universities – Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Karazin National University of Kharkiv, and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. The speakers were experts from seven leading European universities, part of the 4EU+ Alliance (Sorbonne University, University of Milan, Charles University in Prague, University of Heidelberg, University of Copenhagen, University of Geneva and University of Warsaw).

The program of events was rich – the trainees had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with modern approaches to teaching, digitalisation of education and ensuring the quality of the educational process. Speakers and guests of the event exchanged experiences of implementing innovative teaching methods and supporting international educational and scientific projects. In particular, the experience of implementing the Jean Monet Module at the Faculty of Financial Management and Business was presented (speaker O. Sych). Participation in an international internship of this level allowed representatives of Lviv University to acquire new knowledge and competencies, deepen international ties and expand the circle of like-minded people who strive to improve and develop higher education in Ukraine and the EU. The participants of the event received certificates of professional development.
