Опис курсу
Relying on the natural talent of the manager and his life experience in managing today’s projects is not always the best option. The development of civilization and scientific and technological progress requires a new field of activity, a new profession – the profession of project manager.
The subject of the discipline “Management of Informatization Projects” – projects, project planning and control, project budget, project risks, project management automation systems.
The purpose of studying the discipline “Management of Informatization Projects” is to form in students the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills for effective project management in various areas, adaptation and implementation of project solutions in practice.
The main tasks of the discipline “Management of Informatization Projects” – to ensure the mastery of the basic theoretical, methodological and organizational foundations of project management; give the opportunity to master the methods of project management at all stages of the project life cycle; develop the ability to apply the tools of methodology in activities related to the informatization of the economy; to acquaint with the possibilities of the most common in software and their practical application; to teach students to identify and analyze informatization projects of different types in order to build effective ways to develop and maintain software.
Requirements for knowledge and skills
a) to know
- theoretical foundations of project management;
- main functions of project management;
- ways to organize project management and project content planning;
- methods of calculating material, financial, human and other resources, sources of their receipt and effective use;
- risks arising from project management, project implementation control systems
b) be able to
- plan the content of the project;
- monitor the progress of the project;
- form a project team;
- use project management software packages;
- identify and analyze various types of informatization projects in order to build effective ways to develop and maintain software.
