The aim of this course is to provide students with a systematic understanding of the patterns of formation, evolution, and functioning of financial systems in different countries and economic models, as well as to equip them with the theoretical foundations for the organization and development of a modern state financial system.

Objectives of the course:

• to develop a systematic understanding of the nature, functions, and structure of the state’s financial system;
• to acquire knowledge regarding the historical patterns of the formation and development of financial institutions across different historical periods;
• to acquire knowledge regarding the main theoretical concepts of finance and the financial system;
• to develop an understanding of the role of the financial system in ensuring the country’s economic development;
• to develop analytical skills for evaluating financial policy and reforms in the current context.
