Course description

The subject of study of the discipline “Insurance Management” are the relationships that arise in the process of managing the formation, distribution and use of funds of insurance companies in the provision of insurance services.

The purpose of studying the discipline “Insurance Management” is to form students’ knowledge of preparation and implementation of management decisions that ensure the rational formation and use of the potential of insurance companies and harmonization of financial interests of consumers of insurance services, owners and staff of insurance companies, intermediaries and the state.

The tasks of studying the discipline “Insurance Management” are:
– study of the essence, role and mechanism of insurance management;
– study of the means of organization and development of the insurance company and regulation of insurance activities;
– mastering the main areas of insurance management on the basis of domestic and foreign experience;
– acquisition of practical skills of planning and management decisions in the implementation of insurance, reinsurance and investment activities of insurance companies.
