The discipline “Risks of fraud in the field of financial services” is aimed at developing students’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills to identify the risks of financial fraud and their use in teaching financial and economic disciplines, search for new methods and tools to combat fraud schemes in the field of financial services.

The subject of the discipline “Risks of fraud in the field of financial services” are modern methods and ways to identify and combat fraudulent phenomena in the field of financial services.

The purpose of studying the discipline “Risks of fraud in the field of financial services” is to form in higher education students theoretical knowledge about the risks of fraud in the field of financial services and mastering practical tools to prevent, detect and respond to fraud.

• mastering the essence and classification aspects of financial fraud;
• mastering the mechanism of financial fraud, as well as the content of relevant technologies of criminal activity in various fields and areas of financial relations;
• mastering the methods of investigating financial fraud, taking into account the specifics of the branches of financial relations;
• mastering the basic norms and requirements established by law on the punishment and prevention of financial fraud;
• forming an understanding of the state management system for the prevention of financial fraud;
• studying the assessment of the damage caused by financial fraud to the state and business entities;
• mastering approaches and procedures to prevent financial fraud.
