The discipline “Financial Services Market” is a normative discipline in the specialty “Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market” for the educational program “Finance, Customs and Taxation”, taught in the 2nd semester in the amount of 4 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS).

The academic discipline “Financial Services Market” is aimed at developing knowledge and skills of higher education students, in particular, in the provision of financial services by banking and non-banking financial institutions in the financial services market and its segments, as well as the development of practical skills, the application of which will contribute to successful learning and future scientific and professional activities.

The purpose of the discipline is to develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the provision of financial services by banking and non-banking financial institutions in the financial services market and its segments.

Objectives of the discipline:

– formation of a systematic understanding of consumer needs for financial services and the possibilities of their satisfaction by various financial institutions;

– disclosure of the features and mechanisms of financial services in certain segments of the financial services market;

– coverage of the main directions of state policy in the field of regulation of the financial services market, prospects for the development of the financial services market of Ukraine in the context of European integration.
