The discipline “Financial Services Market” is a normative discipline in the specialty “Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market” for the educational program “Finance, Customs and Taxation”, taught in 2 semesters in the amount of 4 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS)

The academic discipline “Financial Services Market” is aimed at forming in higher education applicants knowledge and skills, in particular regarding the provision of financial services by banking and non-banking financial institutions in the financial services market and its segments, as well as for the formation of practical skills, the application of which will contribute to successful study and future scientific and professional activity.

The purpose of the academic discipline is to form in higher education applicants theoretical knowledge and practical skills regarding the provision of financial services by banking and non-banking financial institutions in the financial services market and its segments.

The objectives of the discipline are:

– formation of a systematic understanding of consumer needs in financial services and the possibilities of satisfying them by various financial institutions;

– disclosure of the features and mechanisms of providing financial services in individual segments of the financial services market;

– coverage of the main directions of state policy in the field of regulation of the financial services market, prospects for the development of the financial services market of Ukraine in the context of European integration.
