Опис курсу

In the current conditions of globalization of the world economy and the strengthening of trends in the development of economic competition, the indicator of the search for optimal and effective methods of doing business is constantly increasing. Because of this, the search and further identification of the best management solutions in various areas of business, as well as their use in personal practice – competitive monitoring – is becoming increasingly relevant for the successful functioning and development of enterprises in various market segments, and is also widely used in the process of developing measures to increase the competitiveness of the enterprise and its entry into new markets of both domestic and international scales. All this is a stable basis for in-depth study of the discipline “Competitive Monitoring of Business”, mastering the subject of the academic discipline is a necessity of today.

 

Subject of the academic discipline

The subject of the discipline “Competitive Business Monitoring” is the study and mastery by students of the basic concepts, principles and types of monitoring, as well as the practical principles of using competitive monitoring to improve business by analyzing competitors’ activities and adapting the best examples of its organization.

 

The purpose of the academic discipline

The purpose of studying the discipline “Competitive Business Monitoring” is to enable students to master the methodology of comparative analysis of competing firms, analyze their “strong” and “weak” sides. Based on the systematically presented provisions of the theory of benchmarking and competitive monitoring in business, use various online services to identify competitors, conduct monitoring and analyze their activities based on collected and systematized information about them from social media (blogs, social networks, forums). Formation of knowledge and skills for solving problems using modern software. Formation of theoretical and practical knowledge regarding the methodology of benchmarking , the features of its application for improving and effectively promoting business, including on the Internet.

 

Subject of study

The object of study of the discipline “Competitive Business Monitoring” is the benchmarking process at the enterprise, benchmarking methods and algorithms , and the benchmarking mechanism .

 

Main tasks

The main objectives of the academic discipline “Competitive Business Monitoring” are: studying the basic provisions, concepts and categories related to the functioning of competitive monitoring; forming a complex of interrelated competencies in the field of searching for and implementing best practices in the company’s activities; studying the process of continuous improvement of the organization’s activities; studying the principles of studying the internal and external environment of the organization, identifying opportunities for improvement, as well as identifying innovations for their implementation to ensure the company’s competitiveness.
