The purpose of the discipline – the formation of knowledge about the essence of the mechanism of the investment process, in particular: to help students master the theory and practice of investment management of enterprises, to learn the forms and directions of investment; to form the theoretical and methodological basis necessary for free possession of the practice of using investment instruments; develop the ability to evaluate and analyze the investment policy pursued in the country, as well as to evaluate investment portfolios and investment projects.

The main tasks

• determine the economic content of investment, its main forms and objects;
• to classify investments and determine their features;
• analyze the specifics of the activities and institutions of the investment market;
• determine the legal field of investment activity of Ukraine; consider methodological tools for investing;
• determine the principles of investment strategy and tactics of the investor;
• master the principles and methods of investing in securities;
• learn the principles and methods of investing in real assets;
• consider the methodology of developing business plans;
• identify the main investment sources.
