Course description

The subject of the discipline “Banking Management” are theoretical and practical aspects of the emergence, the set of knowledge and skills that form the profile of a specialist in the field of management and administration.

The purpose of studying the discipline “Banking Management” is the formation
theoretical and economic approach to the problems, tasks and methods of banking management, as well as direct study of specific measures for the analysis and management of banking activities.

The tasks of studying the discipline “Banking Management” are:
– definition of the essence and content of bank management;
– elaboration of the main categories and characteristics of banking management;
– study of the functions of banking management;
– study of the organization of banking management
– identification of problems and prospects for the development of banking management in Ukraine;
– study of methods and ways to manage the assets and liabilities of the bank, its risks;
– acquisition of practical skills of operational liquidity management of the bank.
