Head’s report on the work of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics for 2021-2023.
The results of the activities of the professor-teaching team of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics during 2021-2023 in such main directions as educational and methodological, scientific, organizational and educational work reflect the following indicators:
- an 11% increase in the teaching load of the department;
- teaching of 55 academic disciplines;
- 3 author’s educational courses (DVVS) were developed for students of all specialties of the University, for which more than 400 students are enrolled every year;
- received the 1st academic title of professor and 1st associate professor;
- 2nd training manuals were issued;
- NMK was developed for 12 new academic disciplines;
- certified 21-in electronic training course;
- update of the OPP for the training of bachelors and masters (2023);
- 5 open lecture sessions were held;
- regular cooperation with stakeholders: discussion of OPP – 4 events, guest lectures – 13, organization of joint events – 2, presentation of educational programs – 11 events;
- students completed training on 4 online courses and received relevant certificates;
- 4 teachers were members of editorial boards of foreign peer-reviewed scientific publications;
- provided 7 reviews of works published in journals indexed in Web of Science, Scopus databases;
- published 88 scientific papers, including 6th in publications that are included in the international scientometric databases Scopus, Web of Science;
- 13 events of a scientific and scientific-practical nature were organized and 5 events were co-organized with other departments of the University and Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine;
- scientific supervision of the 1st graduate student with subsequent successful defense of the dissertation;
- 2 teachers received certificates of English language proficiency at the B2 level;
- 9 cooperation agreements were concluded;
- the 3rd meeting of the student scientific group was held;
- 3 students received academic scholarships named after the Hero of the Heavenly Hundred;
- 4 methodological seminars were held and 6 scientific and methodological reports were prepared;
- 2 teachers completed an international internship;
- 1 student and 1 teacher participated in academic mobility programs;
- winners of the OP won 9 sports competitions;
- 3 measures were taken to ensure “zero tolerance” for violations of academic integrity;
- increase in professional level: planned professional development – 8 teachers, received 97 certificates for participation in various thematic events;
- membership of teachers in 9 professional associations;
- educational thematic events were held in academic groups, a meeting with a practical psychologist, participation in the “Welcome week” project every year, team-building trainings, a meeting with public organizations (GO “Building Ukraine Together”), visits to museums and exhibitions, involvement in round tables, participation in charity events, etc.;
- career guidance activities: participation in the UniWeek project every year, meetings with students of the Lviv Oblast Small Academy of Pupil Youth Sciences.
