Meeting with the President of the Association of Professional Customs Intermediaries of Lviv Region within the framework of the “Step to Career” project

On March 19, 2024, at the Faculty of Finance and Business Management, the Department of Financial Management, with the support of the Career Development Department of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, within the framework of the Step to Career project, students of the Finance, Customs and Taxation program had a great opportunity to talk to the President of the Association of Professional Customs Intermediaries Andrii Todoshchuk.

The topic of discussion was the main aspects of foreign economic activity in the context of Ukraine’s European integration.

During the event, the participants discussed the organization and development of the customs infrastructure of Lviv region; the structure of foreign trade turnover of our country; geographical distribution and main products of domestic exports and imports. The participants of the event were particularly interested in the peculiarities of Ukraine’s foreign economic activity in the time of war.

The audience was also interested in information on the opportunities for taking customs brokerage courses and employment of young professionals in the field of foreign economic activity.

This approach to organizing constructive dialogues will help create the most comfortable and favorable environment for the functioning and continuous development of each participant in the foreign economic activity market in cooperation with customs and other authorities. And modern and progressive meetings in the format of a dialogue between students, teachers of the department and practitioners motivate students to gain knowledge that will then be put into practice, contributing to their successful employment. In addition, the practitioner’s recommendations on the structure of individual educational components will be used in the study of the disciplines “Finance of Foreign Economic Activity” and “Customs” in the context of acquiring practical skills.
