On April 23, 2024, a binary lecture on the topic “Organization of work with documents” was given for second-year students studying in the educational program “Accounting, Analysis and Financial Investigations” as part of studying the discipline “Legal Documentation”.
The subject of discussion at the binary lecture was an interdisciplinary problem related to electronic and paper forms of record keeping, its organization, operational and archival storage of documents. Therefore, for a more in-depth and comprehensive review of a specific issue from the specified discipline, representatives of various departments were involved in the dialogue: accounting, analysis and control (lecturer – Lyudmila Petryshyn, Doctor of Economics, associate professor of the Ivan Franko National University) and law enforcement activities and general law disciplines ( lecturer – Olena Gavrylivna Kozynets, Doctor of Science in Science, Associate Professor, Head of Department, Chernihiv Polytechnic National University). The lecture material was supported by a multimedia presentation. Students were active participants in the lecture, had the opportunity to influence the course of the discussion, and ask questions. They were invited to express their own opinion on the problem mentioned in the lecture.

This form of class, due to the presence of the fact of discussion, activates critical thinking, forms the motivation of students’ educational and cognitive activities, promotes the development of communicative abilities, and a comprehensive consideration of the topic forms the systematicity of knowledge on this issue.
