Meeting of the student research group “Kyberprostir” on the topic: “Modern socio-economic trends of IT business development in Ukraine and digital transformation of the national economy”
On April 24, 2024, a scheduled meeting of the student scientific group of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics “Cyberspace” took place in a mixed format (Section 2. “Using information technologies in the study of socio-economic phenomena” – head of Doctor of Economics, Prof. Iryna SHEVCHUK).
The participants of the meeting discussed problematic issues related to the topic: “Modern socio-economic trends of IT business development in Ukraine and digital transformation of the national economy.”
Students of the 1st year (UFE-11c group) studying at the ЕPP “Information Technologies in Business” specialty 051 “Economics” gave scientific reports:
- Anna SAVCHUK Modern trends and problems of the IT sector in Ukraine.
- ZUBACH Valeriya HIG contract VS FOP: what is similar and what is different?
- DANILCHENKO Khrystyna The growth of women’s leadership in Ukrainian IT in the conditions of war.
- RADYMSKA Maria IT industry in war conditions: the state of the largest IT hubs of Ukraine.
- NESTERUK Lola Relocation of the Ukrainian IT business: experience of the largest IT companies.
- MEVSHA Artur Digital Ukraine: the role of the IT sphere.
- KHVESYK Nazar Reservation of IT specialists. Mechanism “eBooking” and “eTravel”.
- DIDUKH Tatyana Development of IT in Ukraine: current situation and prospects.
The lecturers of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics actively participated in the discussion of problematic issues in the reports of higher education applicants.
The head of the department, Iryna SHEVCHUK, told the students of higher education about the importance for students of choosing their own direction of scientific research, which will help them creatively master the material within the educational process, as well as use the opportunities to participate in various contests of scientific works, scientific conferences and seminars, hackathons, business competitions projects, startups. After all, this will contribute to the development of soft-skills and better assimilation of professional competences, which will help in the future to get a promising job in a specialty in top companies or to create your own digital business.
Based on the results of the meeting of the scientific circle, the students will prepare abstracts of reports for participation in scientific and practical conferences of students, graduate students and young scientists and publish relevant collections of materials.
