Meeting of the guarantors and members of the working groups regarding the update of the educational programs “Information technologies in business” specialty 051 “Economics” of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education

On March 7, 2023, the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics held a meeting of guarantors and members of working groups regarding the update of educational programs “Information Technologies in Business” specialty 051 “Economics” of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education.

Guarantors of the educational programs of Prof. Iryna SHEVCHUK and Assoc. Yulianna STADNYK noted the need to make changes to educational programs in connection with cyclical changes in the economy and the labor market, the digitalization of all spheres of society, and the risks of doing business under martial law.

During the meeting, the main aspects that should be paid attention to when improving the OPP were discussed, namely compliance with the requirements of industry standards, ensuring learning outcomes and relevant professional competencies, taking into account the results of monitoring the wishes of applicants and employers when making changes to educational programs.

During the meeting, a number of proposals were made regarding the improvement of educational and professional programs “Information technologies in business” specialty 051 “Economics” of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education.
