WORK OF THE METHODICAL SEMINAR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

On December 23, 2021, the teachers of the Department of PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT held a methodological seminar on the topic: “Academic integrity – the key to quality education.” The main purpose of the seminar was to consider the rules established by law, which should guide the participants of the educational process, in order to ensure confidence in the quality and results of learning.

Head of the department – Komarnytska G.O. stressed that academic integrity is an integral part of ensuring the quality of educational activities and the quality of education, and adherence to the principles of academic integrity during the educational process affects not only the quality of education but also the formation of such important values ​​as honesty, trust, justice, mutual respect. responsibility; thus, ensuring academic integrity becomes the basis of quality education and success strategies in general. Professor of the Department Karpinsky B.A. noted that virtue in the modern civilized world is the cornerstone that forms the foundation of inner harmony of man, the stability of his character and the consistency of moral image. Higher education through teaching and research actually strengthens this foundation with elements of academic integrity, which are designed to cultivate intellectual dignity and respect for the diversity of thoughts and ideas, thus realizing its social mission. Participants of the seminar – teachers of the department also noted that academic integrity is not only about the quality of education – it directly affects which citizens are educated in higher education in the country, what values ​​are laid in university and what is the secret of success in society.

Within the framework of the seminar the methodical reports of associate professors Bobko L.O. were heard and discussed. “Student-oriented learning as a modern approach to the organization of the educational process of higher education” and Malinovskaya O. Y. “Modern innovative technologies in the educational processes of future professionals.”
