Welcome week for students of the educational program “Public Administration and Business Management”

On September 13, 2021, the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv launched Welcome week – an annual event in which freshmen get acquainted with the structure and activities of the University, learn about interesting student initiatives and, of course, communicate with representatives of faculties and departments of Lviv University.

On September 15, 2021, the first-year students met and got acquainted with the educational programs of the Faculty of Financial Management and Business. The Department of Public Administration and Business Management organized a meeting for applicants with stakeholders of the educational program “Public Administration and Business Management” (in a remote format).

The meeting was joined by a leading specialist of the youth policy department of the Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv Regional State Administration Spodaryk Olga, Ambassador of the Lviv Regional Youth Center – Alexander Stanasyuk, a leading specialist of the Department of Communications and Internal Policy of the Lviv Regional State Administration Natalia Kalakun and a student representative from the faculty – Maria Kormylo.

The speakers acquainted students with the prospects and opportunities that they can realize while studying at the university with the help of certain structures while studying in the educational program “Public Administration and Business Management”.

About the opportunity to realize themselves in public bodies and about the competencies they can develop in such cooperation. Students had the opportunity to ask questions to stakeholders and join the conversation. The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere and helped to raise awareness of applicants about the prospects of self-realization in the chosen profession.
