There was a defense of coursework on specialization by masters of OP “Information technologies in business”

On January 2, 2023, the defense of the coursework of students of the UFEM-11s group of the OP “Information technologies in business” specialty 051 “Economics” took place.

Masters presented a wide range of applied scientific research and practical developments related to:

• visual analysis of data on the use of funds in schools of the Lviv region, showing the consequences of global economic crises, wage dynamics in Ukraine, exports of highly developed countries and Ukraine;
• development of websites for business structures of various fields of activity;
• economic-mathematical modeling of changes in foreign trade relations of Ukraine with the EU, inflationary processes of Ukraine, the decision-making process regarding investing in cryptocurrency;
• development of a software platform for automating trading on the stock market, a gaming web blog,
• monitoring trends in the development of the IT sphere of Ukraine and their impact on the economy, digitalization processes of Ukrainian enterprises, competitors, as well as monitoring the activities of competitors.

Students prepared meaningful reports with presentations based on the results of their own research, demonstrated the ability to independently process significant volumes of literary sources on the topic of the work, analyze and summarize the information received, and formulate their own conclusions and proposals.

The commission consisting of Professor Iryna Shevchuk and Associate Professors of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics Bohdan Deputat and Yulianna Stadnyk assessed the level of formation of general (key) and professional competencies acquired by students in the process of mastering the educational material. Students Viktor Didenchuk, Anastasia Lapinkova, Andriy Maryskevich, Artem Slobodianyk, Andriy Sushko, Nazar Uniyat, Anastasia Shakhova showed an excellent ability to synthesize the acquired theoretical knowledge and use it during the study of practical problems.
