Participation of students of higher education ЕP “Information technologies in business” in the 5th Winter School of Information Technologies Data Engineering and Security 2024 (DES 2024)

From January 22 to February 2, 2024 at Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko, the 5th Winter School of Information Technologies Data Engineering and Security 2024 (DES 2024) was held online.

DES is one of the largest IT schools in Ukraine, which annually brings together the best industry specialists, experts, mentors and lecturers from leading IT companies to pass on their knowledge and experience to students who want to conquer the IT field.

The topics of the classes, at which leading specialists in the IT industry and University teachers shared theoretical knowledge and practical experience, related to Software Engineering, the basics of programming, HPC, IoT, DataScience, Big data, Cloud, DB, Data processing, data analysis, Machine Learning, CV , NLP, Time series, areas of practical application of AI, CyberSecurity, SoftSkills, etc.

This year, the participant of the winter school was Iryna KRECHETOVA, a student of higher education at the ЕPP “Information Technologies in Business” (UFE-21c group).
