Participation in the online master class from the Business-Constructor company “What modern HR should know and be able to do

On February 27, 2023, Oksana Vaskiv, a teacher of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Ukraine, took part in an online master class from the company Business-Constructor “What modern HR should know and be able to do”, the purpose of which was to discuss the following questions:

• what is an effective HR function;
• what is the difference between a recruiter and an HR manager;
• what professional competencies should an HR manager possess;
• what personal qualities are important for an HR manager.

A presentation of a selection of modules for the educational and practical process of HR-Manager took place at the master class, namely:

• the role of HR in business;
• organizational structure of the enterprise. Regulation of the functionality of employees. Business processes;
• personnel selection;
• adaptation of newcomers;
• evaluation and development of employees;
• motivation;
• development of corporate culture;
• environmental release of employees.

The online master class program was useful for improving the curricula of the disciplines, namely “Business processes and HR analytics” and “Information systems in management”, which consider the questions: who is an HR manager and what does he do? How strongly does it affect the implementation of an effective HR function of a business?, which are read for students of the OP “Information technologies in business” in the second and third years of study.
