📆November 3, 2022 as part of teaching the academic discipline “Business Analysis of IT Projects” (teacher: A. I. Starukh), students of the UFE-41s group of the OP “Information Technologies in Business” of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University attended an online webinar on the topic: “How to work with requirements so that you are perceived as an experienced BA?” from the IAMPM company. The lecturer was George Shkabarin, Senior BA at EPAM Systems.

🧑‍💻After all, a qualified business analyst should be able not only to write clear requirements, but also to create a scalable architecture of requirements: one where the team together with stakeholders understand the strategy by which the product will achieve business goals. In particular, the following issues were raised at the meeting:

🔹How to work with requirements?

🔹How requirements architecture and scalable solutions are managed.

🔹How to work with requirements so that you are perceived as an experienced BA?

🔹How to work with conflicting requirements so that stakeholders agree on a final solution.

🔹How to record validation and verification in requirements.

🔹Metrics and KPIs in requirements analysis

🔹About rules that will eliminate ambiguity.

☝️Such meetings are useful in obtaining the relevant competencies within the framework of the course. And the practical cases from specialists definitely made it possible to quickly master and understand the principle of working on projects with thousands of requirements.
