Participation of students in the webinar from leading practitioners-analysts of sustainable development goals

On April 1, 2021, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor Iryna Shevchuk and students of the UFE-31c group of the educational program “Information Technology in Business” took part in the webinar “Looking into the future: measuring and prospects for revising CSR indicators” with experts from Ukraine , Moldova and international organizations.

The event was organized by the WHO in Ukraine together with the State Statistics Service of Ukraine and Vox Ukraine.

shared their views and experiences on forming an evidence-based basis for building effective and successful policies to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals adopted for the period from 2015 to 2030 (17 Global Goals, which meet 169 goals). After all, the availability of high-quality open data collected in the process of monitoring the Sustainable Development Goals ensures accountability in relations between governments and citizens, as well as allows to analyze the country’s progress (re) progress and make informed decisions for development.

Note that Ukraine measures progress in achieving the CSB on 183 indicators. 22 of them are fully global, 72 are close to global, the rest are national, which more relevantly reflect the steps Ukraine needs to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure peace and prosperity.
