Participation in the practical webinar “Agile through the eyes of ISTQB”

07.12.2021 teachers of the Department of Digital Economics and Business Analytics, Faculty of Finance and Business Management, Lviv National University. I.Franka Iryna Shevchuk, Anna Starukh and Bohdan Deputat attended the webinar: “Agile through the eyes of ISTQB».

The speaker of the event was Marina Minak-Suprunenko – QA Team Lead at Temabit Fozzy Group, has been testing since 2015, gained knowledge from official sources, communities, training centers and practice and has the appropriate ISTQB certification.

The following was discussed during the webinar:

▪What are the skills of an Agile tester to work productively in a team and in an Agile environment.

▪What ISTQB offers for Agile Tester

▪Short analysis of available Agile certifications from Foundation to Advanced levels.

▪Difference between the tester’s work in the Agile project and the traditional Waterfall project.

▪Values and principles of work in Agile Software Development and the role and place of the tester in these processes.

This information is especially useful to inform higher education students majoring in 051 “Economics” of the educational program “Information Technology in Business” about the importance of teamwork and testing software development at all stages of its life cycle. In addition, the webinar material will be used to improve teachers’ courses, including “Algorithmization and Programming”, “Object Oriented Programming”, Web Design and Web Programming, “Software Testing Methodology”, “Design Technologies” and administration of DB and SD”.
