Participation of students of the ЕP “Information technologies in business” in the webinar “Checking the turnover and balance information as it would be checked by the financial director”

On April 3, 2023, teachers of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv Iryna Shevchuk, Oksana Vaskiv and students of the UFE-31s group of the OP “Information Technologies in Business” took part in the online webinar “Online- AVS accounting school” on the topic “Checking the turnover and balance information as it would be checked by the financial director”.

The questions discussed at the online meetings covered a wide range of control positions, which are of primary importance for the financial director when checking the turnover and balance information, namely checking:

• “large (=significant) numbers”;
• typical “problem” places that require constant monitoring;
• marginality, as well as where to look for it in accounting?;
• formation of the financial result in accounting:

• • income accounting accounts (grade 7);
  • cost accounting accounts (grade 9);
  • accounting account of production costs (23) and general production costs (91);
  • financial result accounting accounts (account 79 and its sub-accounts).

The online master class program was useful for improving the curriculum of the discipline “Information systems in management”, which is read for students of the OP “Information technologies in business” in the third year of study.
