Participation of students and teachers of the Department of Digital Economics and Business Analytics in EPAM Agile-conference from Lviv Agile Community
On November 11-12, 2021, teachers of the Department of Digital Economics and Business Analytics Anna Starukh and Anna Zadorozhna with students studying for OP “Information Technology in Business” attended the EPAM Agile-conference from Lviv Agile Community.
During the two days of the conference, participants heard a lot of useful information about the implementation of Agile, and in particular Kanban, participated in workshops with leading EPAM experts and world-renowned speakers.
The conference program included the following blocks:
1. Visualization tips and tricks in Kanban)
2. Agile outside of IT)
3. Organizational flexibility and Agile-teams
4. Scrum Master
5. Mentoring as a basis for teamwork
6. Kanban Workshop
They also talked about the latest news in the world of Kanban and an overview of trends. The conference program was extremely interesting and rich, which helped the participants to better understand the intricacies of Agile implementation.
The secrets shared by leading experts have a practical direction. For example, Kanban’s advanced tools, tips on how to use them, and what “weaknesses” they allow you to see during a software project were discussed. It’s also no secret that the limits of Agile’s use have long been outside the IT industry. One of the lecturers’ reports was devoted to the peculiarities and prospects of using Agile in other spheres.
The materials presented at this conference are especially useful for students majoring in “IT in Business” and support the knowledge gained from the study of the discipline “Information Project Management” and other related disciplines taught by members of the department.
