The work of the accounting, analysis and control subsection of the finance and business management section of the reporting scientific conference of the Ivan Franko National University

On February 8, 2023, a meeting of the accounting, analysis and control subsection of the finance and business management section of the reporting scientific conference of the Ivan Franko National University was held.

All scientists of the department participated in the work of the subsection. 9 reports on modern, relevant topics were heard.

In his report, Professor Romaniv E.M. noted that in order to quickly detect economic offenses, it is necessary to perfectly use such concepts as the analysis and control of all planning and economic indicators, their interrelationship and theoretical and practical expediency over certain periods of time.

A significant role in this issue is assigned to clear current legislation and relevant legal norms and clarifications regarding their use in practical activities.

The lecturers of the department emphasized new challenges in the modern economy of Ukraine, which require the implementation of solutions in the shortest possible time, since the military threat does not allow time for reflection. In society and its economy, information is of particular importance. On the basis of information, which is considered as a type of resource, economic decisions are made that ensure the progress of the economy.

Now the tasks of control bodies have changed a lot compared to peacetime. In addition to their main tasks, they must: identify those customers who are physically located in Russia and Belarus; to find subjects subject to sanctions; to identify those enterprises associated with known persons or organizations for the purpose of covert connection with Belarusian or Russian individuals and legal entities.

The reports were followed by a discussion of the issues raised in the speeches.
