The participation of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management in the UniWeek project -23

From October 23 to 27, the UniWeek project was implemented at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. This event was created by the Student Government of the University within the UPSHIFT program with the support of UNICEF and the German government through the German state development bank KfW.

UniWeek is a week when schoolchildren from Lviv region had an incredible opportunity to attend classes at the chosen faculty, immersing themselves in the atmosphere of student life. The Department of Public Administration and Business Management actively joined this project. Students who chose the educational program “Public Administration and Business Management” had the opportunity to attend both lectures and practical classes conducted by the teachers of the department. In particular, schoolchildren had the opportunity to debate on the academic discipline “Visual and Information Support in Professional Activity” (Herasymenko O.V. and Vaskivska K.V.), go through an interactive game Kahoot on the pair “Communication in Public Management and Administration” (Reshota O.A.). At the lecture “Introduction to the Profession and Academic Integrity” together with the first course, they had the opportunity to listen and discuss the features of personnel management (Reshota O.A.).

On the academic discipline “Marketing” (Komarnytska H.O. and Paterukha N.H.) high school students had the opportunity to work in groups with the first-year students and practice writing a brief to influencers about advertising their own brand. We express our gratitude to all the teaching staff of the department, as well as students who joined the implementation of this project. We look forward to seeing the participants next year in our student ranks.
