The first results of the work of the Department of Financial Management in 2022

The first results of the Department of Financial Management in 2022 are the publication of a new textbook “Budget Management”. The manual presents the theoretical foundations of budget management, which is an integral part of the system of state regulation of the economy and a tool for regulating economic and social processes. Its role in the public finance system is outlined. Features of budget resources management at the state and local levels are highlighted; the budget process in Ukraine, the procedure of accounting and reporting on budget execution are described, and the peculiarities of control and audit in the budget process are reflected. The manual is recommended for applicants for higher education, majoring in “Finance, Banking and Insurance”, teachers of higher education and academics, as well as practitioners.
