Students of the ЕPP “Information Technologies in Business” visited photo exhibitions in the main building of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv

On April 17, 2024, students of the UFE-21c and UFE-31c groups of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management, together with the advisors of the groups, the head of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics, Prof. Iryna SHEVCHUK and Assoc. Iryna BORSCHUK visited the exhibition of student works of the Faculty of Philosophy “Initiations”, as well as the photo exhibition of Markiyan VACHKOV and Yuri BILAK, which documents the crimes of the Russian troops located in the main building of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

Markiyan VACHKOV – a student of the Faculty of Journalism, a photographer, in his photographs depicted destroyed cars, houses, devastation after the liberation of Buchi, Irpen, Borodyanka and other villages and towns that were occupied by the Russians.

Yuriy BILAK is a French photographer of Ukrainian origin, who has been photographing Ukraine for over 10 years, documented the events of the Revolution of Dignity and the Russian-Ukrainian war. With the beginning of a full-scale war, he created the “Dawn” project.

The exhibition of student works of the Faculty of Philosophy “Initiations” reflects the modern view of students on today’s problems, highlights the liminality of life, status and activities of modern youth and their interaction with society.

Such an event significantly expands the worldview of students and allows them to think about and look at the realities of modern life in a new way.
