Students-financiers visited the State Tax Service in the Lviv region

In the framework of cooperation of the Department of Financial Management with employers, 4th-year students of the educational program “Finance, Customs and Tax Affairs” together with Assoc. Prof. Olga Sych visited the State Tax Service in Lviv region. Thus, they joined the Open Day, which was organized by the Department of Personnel Development of the State Tax Service in the Lviv region for students of higher educational institutions. During the meeting, students received information about the areas of work of structural units, their main tasks, and functions; organization of industrial and undergraduate internships; the order of youth internships; working conditions of officials, working hours, and procedure for entering the civil service. In the end, students took part in a tour and got acquainted with the work of the Payer Service Center. Such meetings deepen students’ practical knowledge of taxation. Joint lectures, which have become a good tradition at the Department of Financial Management and involve leading specialists of the State Tax Service, allow forming a qualified specialist in finance, customs, and taxation.
