The staff of the Department of Economics and Public Administration together with the scientific group “Upravlinets” held a round table on the topic “Global challenges in public administration”. The event took place on October 28, 2022, as part of the special project “FrancoAutumn-2022” for the University Days.

Andrii Stasyshyn, dean of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management, gave a welcoming speech, emphasizing the extreme relevance of the selected issues of the event. At the current stage, Ukraine is on the one hand facing the challenge of Russia’s military aggression, and on the other hand, many new opportunities are opening up for us. And precisely how our state will use them will depend on the quality of modern public administration.

Head of the Department of Economics and Public Administration, Halyna Kaplenko, welcomed the participants and noted the high level of interest among student youth in researching various management problems, which can be seen from the program of the event. The teachers of the department also spoke with their comments and questions: Vasyl Zelenko, Oksana Pikulyk, Nataliіa Pak, Andriі Tabachuk and others.

The event was accompanied by a lively discussion and such issues as:

  • Reforming the public service of Ukraine under the conditions of integration into the European Union
  • The role of youth in territorial communities in the conditions of war
  • Cooperation between civil society and the government during the reconstruction of post-war Ukraine
  • Peculiarities of public administration in the field of national security of Ukraine
  • Risks and threats to national security: the Ukrainian context
  • Green reconstruction of Ukraine and its principles, etc.

The organizers express their sincere gratitude to all the participants of this round table.

Everything will be Ukraine! Together to victory!
